We all have that one recipe Which really doesn’t have a name We add all our spices.. And that recipe is a hit in our family In the same way I have a Chicken Curry Which is a hit in my family I am going to share that with you So come let’s begin… Here I have taken 1/2 kg regular Chicken I will then marinate it with spices So come let’s do that For that I have taken 1tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste 1 tbsp of Coriander Seeds Powder 1 tbsp Garam Masala 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder This you can add accordingly 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder And 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds Powder We’ll mix all this.. So that the spices spread well on the chicken We’ll add salt per taste To that I’ll add 1/2 cup Curds We’ll mix all together once again We’ll keep this for marination.. Marinate for at least 1/2 hour so that
all the flavours gets inside the chicken So now we’ll keep this aside We have to make a paste for the curry For that I have taken 15 Cashew nuts I have soaked them in hot water for
a while so it becomes easier to grind So we’ll add this Cashew Nuts Here I have taken Magaj (Melon Seeds) These seeds are easily available in the market This also I had soaked in the water for 1/2 hour I have taken 1/4 cup of that If these seeds aren’t available you’ll
can use another 15 cashew nuts Now I’ll add some Onion I have fried this to golden brown So we’ll add 1/4 cup Fried Onions Add a little Water Simply 1/2 cup So now I’ll grind it to a smooth paste Our paste is now ready This is the required consistency Smooth is texture The chicken has marinated for an hour now So now we’ll begin with the curry The pan is heated, to that I’ll add
2 tbsp Ghee (Clarified Butter) You can either use Oil or Ghee Because this curry is a little rich on taste When you have special guests
coming over this is the perfect dish I’ve already added 2 tbsp Ghee.. ..to that I’ll add 2 tbsp Oil To that we’ll add some whole spices In that I’ve taken 1 Black Cardamom Then we’ll add 2 Star Anise 3 Green Cardamom 4-5 Cloves And 6-7 Black Pepper Sauté it for sometime Now to that we’ll add the Chicken Now we must mix this chicken on a high flame.. ..and sauté it well We’ve sautéed it on the high heat for 5 minutes Now we’ll add the paste that we previously made We’ll mix is all well once again Now to this we’ll add more salt
because we put salt in the marinate.. ..but we didn’t add salt in the paste we made We’ll add some salt To this I’ll now add Kasoori Methi
(Dried Fenugreek Leaves) These leaves add a nice taste to the dish So we’ll add 1 tbsp of this We have to make this in a
curry so I’ll be adding Water And if you want to make it dry, without
adding water just cover it and let it cook Since I’m making this into a
curry I’ll add 2 cups of Water Mix it We have to cook this on a low flame It takes a while but cooking on
low flame enhances the taste Let this come to a boil And then cover it and cook it for a 30-45 minutes It has started to boil We’ll cover it and let it cook on the low flame It’s been 45 minutes, our chicken
was cooking on a low flame Let’s see whether it’s ready Its ready and cooked well Did you’ll see how easy it is to make this recipe You can have this with Rice or any
